Ep. 64: Education is Overrated for Health Practitioners

Many practitioners pursue various certifications and/or degrees to feel "qualified" to do what they do. While education is important, the inner knowing, experience, and application is even more important. Gone are the days where the patient-practitioner relationship is based on respect and knowledge. Patients are seeking effectiveness, understanding, experience, and connection. While knowledge can help understand pathology, only applied knowledge and inner knowing can truly impact the lives of your patients in the most profound way. You must ask yourself, beyond your degrees and certifications, do you practice what you preach? Are you living in optimal state of health? Do you exemplify health and longevity? Not by what you say, but by what you do. Your actions speak louder than your words. Be the change you want to see in the lives that you serve.
