Ingredients
1 lbs Ground meat of choice (organic, grass fed beef, chicken, turkey, or pork)
1 chopped small onion
2 cloves of garlic minced
1 4oz diced and drained can of water chestnuts
½ cup diced mushrooms (I use whatever mushrooms I have)
½ cup diced celery
2 TBSP Hoisin Sauce
1TBSP gluten free soy sauce or aminos
1 TBSP Sriracha (optional)
1 head Lettuce leaves (romaine, iceberg, green)
4 servings Rice noodles, somen noodles or angel hair pasta
2 TBSP avocado oil
½ cup soy sauce (amino or gluten free)
2 TBSP apple cider vinegar
¼ cup TBSP Chopped green onion
1 head of garlic minced
1 jalapeno (chopped fine, seeded) optional
Sauce Ingredients:
Directions
Boil water for the noodles and cook according to directions and rinse set aside.
Wash the lettuce
Make the sauce
Stir fry the ground meat until cooked through.
Strain the meat to separate the fat.
Add the oil to the pan
Add the onion and garlic stir fry for 2 minutes
Add all the other vegetables including the chestnuts
Add the ground meat
Add the hoisin and sriracha sauce and keep stirring 3-5 minutes or until the vegetables are to your liking.
Serve the lettuce, meat and noodles with the sauce and enjoy
